Last month I was lucky enough to partner up with one of my friends Erin, from the Sewing Summit (a modern sewing and blogging conference), to host a creative mixer in South Jordan.
I thought I would share a little recap, as well as information about the next blogger mixer and networking event hosted by Ikea!
We had so much fun seeing everyone who came out to share in the fun…there were sooo many of you!
We snacked on some fun treats…
Edit: So many of you have emailed to ask about our check-in table. The tablecloth was chevron fabric from Riley Blake. The cute little chevron candy bags ($5 for 20), the paper straws ($9.99 for 144 – what a steal!) and the candy are all from Orson Gygi. This store is pretty much my go to for party and kitchen supplies – everything is a great deal!
We enjoyed the generosity of Nadine from Material Girls, who offered everyone a fabulous discount and a small gift…
And Janelle, from One Sweet Slice, who shared her gorgeous space and about a million delightful cupcakes…
Thanks to everyone who participated…
So excited to announce another fun (albeitΒ a bit last minute) event at Ikea.
I am really excited for this one…Please come meet Celeste, the local blogger outreach coordinator and learn how you can work with the local store on your home decorating, storage and DIY projects.
Please RSVP via the event’s Eventbrite page.
Disclaimer: I am receiving no payment for this post or the event, I simply love Ikea and bloggers.
Oh you Utah girls get to have all the fun. π Looks like one great event after another!!
Michele, The hope is that eventually I will be able to grow some of these programs and events to other parts of the country where there are SNAPPers π Wish you were here though.
xoxo, Tauni
sounds so fun!! I love to plan my vacations around IKEA because we don’t live by one
Mandy, I used to love to visit my friend in Oregon just so that we could hit up the Ikea π Wish you lived closer!
xoxo, Tauni
Oh, I wish the kiddo tickets weren’t sold out. This looks like so much fun!
Becky, Try again. I think that there were so many of you trying to order multiple kids tickets all at the same time, it shut you down.
xoxo, Tauni
Thanks Tauni! I am signed up. π
Yay! So glad you can make it. It’s been a while since I’ve seen you!
xoxo, Tauni
I am dying with excitement right now! I live in Idaho, but will actually be here! I can’t wait! Now I may have to buy myself a new outfit for it! I wasn’t expecting to need to look cute this trip! I don’t have my business cards either, but I guess I will just to be that much more unforgettable! I am so excited to see everyone.
McKenzie, Yay! So glad to have you!!! Don’t worry about the special outfit…I am all about comfort! xoxo, Tauni
What up my Idaho friend?? I am going to be there too!!! We are driving to Utah tomorrow night π Can’t believe I am finally lucky enough to make one of the Utah blog events! SNAP reunion time π Text me so we can meet up!
Done! I am so glad you will be there!
I just registered the kids tickets were sold out. May I still bring her? Or should I fine alternate child care for her?
Shoot! I didn’t see this til late last night and didn’t notice the register part until right now & they won’t let me register! Next time I guess:(
Thank you to everyone who came to the IKEA event, we really enjoyed meeting with all of you. I am excited to see your projects!
I’m sorry to those of you who missed the event, we will plan another one soon. We love the Bloggers and especially SNAP!
