The Venue

Where is SNAP! being held this year?
All SNAP! sponsored activities will be held at Thanksgiving Point, a fifty-five acre farm with 15 gardens, located about 35 miles from the Salt Lake City International Airport in Lehi, Utah.

Events will take place in three on-site buildings all within walking distance.

Tell me about the Tulip Festival?

SNAP! will take place during the garden’s amazing Tulip Festival.

Attendees will have access to the garden’s quarter million tulips free of charge with their badge on Thursday, April 19. Access to the gardens Friday and Saturday is available at the garden’s regular rate of $10.

Are there other entertainment options on-site?
There is a large Megaplex movie theater on site. There are typically about a dozen different films running at any given time.

The on-site hotel is a Springhill Suites, by Marriott Hotel.

One of the really nice things about this hotel is the amenities. We’ve made sure you’ll have access to WiFi and a full breakfast each morning for no additional charge. Yay!!!

Though there are a variety of rooms available – from king studios to double suites – we’re working with a weekend that is always sold out and we only have a limited number of guaranteed spots, so please, please book early!

Update: The Springhill Suites has sold all the rooms available for the discounted rate. You may contact them regarding the possibility of any remaining regular rate rooms.

The alternative hotel is the Hampton Inn at Thanksgiving Point. The hotel’s regular rates are less expensive than Springhill Suites, but it is a 3-5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to the event location.

Food

What meals are included with my SNAP! ticket?
Your ticket includes dinner Thursday, Friday and Saturday, lunch on Friday and Saturday, along with various snack breaks.

What about breakfast? Will you have coffee?
Breakfast is available at Springhill Suites to all guests. If you’re staying at the hotel you’re taken care of.

We will have coffee available Friday and Saturday morning in our sponsor lounge – the Aspen Room.

I have a food allergy or need a vegetarian meal. Can you accomodate?
We can accomodate most meal requirements. If you have a particular need, please email [email protected]

Will alcohol be served?
In order to keep costs low for our attendees, we will not be serving alcohol at the event. If you’d like to make a purchase for your hotel room, we recommend the State Liquor Store located about 15 minutes from the venue.  You can also visit the Thanskgiving Point Golf Course Club House.

What other options are there for dining on site?
Thanksgiving Point has a number of dining options on site from the more formal Harvest Restaurant to the Deli and Ice Cream Shop.
