There’s a new way to increase your Twitter followers – the Twitter follow button. Last week, Twitter launched a one-click button that enables users to subscribe to your feed with a single click.
The new Follow button is the answer to Facebook’s like button and allows your readers to instantly follow your Twitter account without having to leave your site.
Adding the button to your site is super simple. So, here’s how you can add it to your blog:
- Visit the Twitter resource page and pick up the embed code for your own personal button.
- Enter your Twitter handle and select from the available options.
- Grab the code that appears on the right side of the screen.
- Paste the code into the HTML tab of a page, post or sidebar.
- You’re all done!
When it comes to sites, the less clicks the better. It’s all about helping visitors find what they need as easily as possible. So, knowing how easy it is to set up the new Twitter follow button, will you be adding it to your site?
