We’ve been talking a lot about 2012 blogging goals this week and we’ve even completed one – our 2012 editorial calendar.
One goal that’s on my list every year is to do a better job of implementing SEO strategies. Luckily, this year I’ve got a little help…
We’re thrilled to announce that SEO expert Dennis Goedegebuure will be joining us in April to teach SEO for blogging.
Dennis is the Vice President of Internet Marketing at Geeknet Inc., where he drives traffic to sites like Slashdot, Sourceforge and Freshmeat.
Prior to joining Geeknet, Dennis worked for eBay. While there, he was responsible for coordinating global internet marketing, including SEO on 22 global eBay marketplace sites. He has also consulted for Paypal, Skype, Shopping.com and StumbleUpon.
One of his pet projects at eBay was utilizing Infographics to create viral stories that were picked up by large blogs.
Dennis has spoken at conferences all over the world and will be teaching a short introduction to SEO, as well as an in-depth three hour course.
Is SEO implementation on your list of resolutions this year?
I can ALWAYS use more knowledge about SEO!! Very excited about this!
Michele, Dennis is the best. I do not lie.

Dude, this makes me so happy! His 3 hour class I went to at EVO was mind blowing. 🙂
Stacy, It makes us all happy, no joke. We sort of feel like Dennis’ class is worth all the work we’ve put in 🙂

Thank you Tauni & Stacy,
i will make sure the content is as relevant and updated as at the EVO conference.
There is so much happening, that it’s advisable to get updated on best practices and new strategies from the search engines!
Looking forward spending time at the Snap conference, and with you and your websites!
Dennis,
In the dozens of conferences I’ve been to, you class was by far the most worthwhile. You do a great job of being able to take the “tech” out of the conversation and make SEO understandable for anyone.
Best,
Tauni
Oh yay!! I LOVED his workshop at EVO. He is the BEST! How exciting.
Yippeeeee! I LOVED his class at EVO!
I know, right Heather? I am super excited about this one.
